This very handsome and superb quality Victorian figured mahogany cylinder roll top bookcase supported on a pedestal base. Made from the finest grade of solid mahogany and stunning figured mahogany veneers. The 2 door glazed top features 2 adjustable shelves with the original lock and key. The bottom section features a pedestal desk with a tambour front enclosing a fitted interior over 9 drawers with original brass handles. The central drawer has a petition in the centre and the drawers to either side are graduating in depth. The interior also features a writing slope as well as drawers and pigeon slots. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a wonderful colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office. Splits into 4 sections for ease of installation.
