Description

An extra-wide Victorian hinged silver cuff from the Aesthetic era (c.1880s) beautifully engraved on the front half with a swallow and landscape motif typical of the period. A very wearable piece.

The bangle would have been gilded at one time; all that remains is a little gold along the hinge and on the top and bottom edges.

In good antique condition, no major dents, minor surface wear consistent with normal antique usage (see photos). Opens easily and closes securely, both the hinge and clasp are fully working.

Size: Internal circumference is approx 7 inches; width 3.4cm.
