A Superb Edwardian Silver Mounted Iridescent Scent Bottle

1900 - 1920
Description

A superb and striking Edwardian scent bottle. This unusual example has a hallmarked silver top and collar in repousse design. The pull off lid is removed to reveal the original facet ball stopper. The beautiful glass body is iridescent glass in stunning peacock blues and greens and is very much in the Art Nouveau taste. There are three cut through panels revealing the clear body. This superb piece would make a welcome addition to any collection of antique scent bottles. Dimensions below.

Hallmarks :- Full set to lid and matching part mark to collar. Softening to maker's mark.
