Small Sterling Silver and Tortoise Shell Photograph Frame

Description

A wonderful little photo frame made from sterling silver mounted to the solid English Oak backing. Behind the silver is a decorative piece of tortoiseshell with colourings ranging from golden Champagne through to chocolate brown, enhanced by it's glossy patina.

The frame stands on it's folding easel in a landscape format, always popular. The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1926.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 5/8" x 2 1/2" with a glazed aperture measuring 2 3/8" x 1 1/2".
