A Rare Victorian Silver & Uranium Glass Scent Bottle

Description

A fabulous silver mounted scent bottle dating from the Victorian period. This gorgeous example has a multi - panel cut body in vibrant acid yellow uranium glass. The hinged silver lid is in repousse work featuring foliar motifs and opens to reveal the original peg stopper. The glass glows beautifully under UV light and this superb piece would make a welcome addition to any collection of antique scent bottles. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents to the silver and no cracks or chips to the glass. There a few internal scratches, commensurate with age and use.
