An Impressive French Bureau Plat, Writing Table

1900 - 1920
Description

In Louis XV style and constructed of Amboyna, Kingwood and Bois Satine and with gilt metal mounts, handles and escutcheons. The table has an impressive stance on bold cabriole legs, with 3 frieze drawers and dummies to the reverse, the top has a mid-brown, gilt tooled leather writing surface. In good condition. 760mm high, 1730mm wide and 880mm deep. Circa 1900.
