Victorian Sterling Silver Collar Necklace

Description

If you're looking for a Victorian silver collar necklace, you'll be hard pressed to find one much better than this incredible example! The front is beautifully hand engraved but the necklace could also be worn with the smooth side facing out if you fancied a change. Fully articulated, it sits nicely and is very comfortable to wear.

The back of the clasp is stamped with an English patent mark which enables us to date the necklace precisely to 27 August 1880.

In excellent antique condition with fully working concealed clasp.

Length: 42cm (16 and a half inches) circumference along the inside edge.

Width: 2.4cm (just under an inch).

Weight: 80.6g.
