Description

Attractive pair of French brass large single beds with elliptical brass tubes and porcelain castors. Suitable for mattresses 100cm x 190cm. We can supply at this size if needed.The beds have been sympathetically restored with joints checked for good fit, side rails strengthened and adapted to support wood slats and frame hand cleaned and waxed to preserve naturally aged patina. These beds can be supplied with a joining link to enable occasional use as 200cm width bed. We are also able to supply zipped mattresses if needed.

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases. These raise the get into bed height and offer a superior support for quality mattresses. Price each £135 for 5cm depth(as used for photograph) /£195 for 10cm depth. We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £150 -£525 each. Pretty pair of French painted caned single beds with fluted columns with carved details and knobs. Original naturally aged paintwork has been cleaned and waxed to preserve. All cane in good condition. Suitable for standard single mattresses 90cm x 190cm.
