Antique Burr Walnut Queen Anne Double Wardrobe C1920

Antique Burr Walnut Double Wardrobe in the Queen Anne Style and dating from around 1920. Constructed from quality burr walnut it has a serpentine shaped moulded top with carved cartouche to the centre and with floral mouldings to each side. This is above two full length burr walnut doors with deep crossbanded and finely strung edges and with original brass gilt handles and working key. Internally and to one side is a hanging rail and an open shelf with hanging rail below. To the base is a shoe rail. It is moulded to the base and is raised on short cabriole legs joined by a shaped and carved frieze. The wardrobe dismantles for ease of transporting.
