A Fine Quality Marquetry Inlaid Edwardian Period Serpentine Side Cabinet

Description

A fine quality marquetry inlaid Edwardian Period serpentine side cabinet. Having a top of serpentine outline in solid figured mahogany and boxwood line inlay and wonderful parquetry and marquetry central inlaid panel. The front has twin serpentine shaped central doors with the finest marquetry inlaid detail onto parquetry panels, with kingwood banding. Each end having a serpentine glazed door with glass shelf and silk lined back, supported on four elegant cabriole supports. English circa 1900. Undoubtedly made by one of the top cabinet makers of the time, possibly Maple & Co of London or Edwards & Roberts. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 56" wide x 19" deep x 40" high

Condition: This cabinet is in superb condition
