Description

A fabulous 17th century chest of drawers of heavy oak construction with three finely molded drawers with large iron loop handles and separated by dental moldings.

The plank top is support by thick V- cut brackets and decorated with split turned tablet shaped bosses and a small row of dental moldings.

The chest retains its original back boards and drawer pans and linings, The drawer runners have been replaced at some stage and the iron handles are later.

The chest has had a couple of old restorations commiserate with age but is in excellent condition and has a superb colour and patination.
