Pierced tortoiseshell long handle lorgnettes, circa 1870
 
in original maroon leather case marked Negretti & Zambra London
 
Oval 1.2 X magnification glass lenses pivot out from the handle and hold firm for use.
 
Hand pierced polished tortoiseshell the handle fitted with gold owners initial E.
 
Length folded 11? or 280mm, weight cased 59 grams.
 
All in very good sound condition with no damage or repair.
