This antique Swedish Chesterfield sofa still has the original leather on it & the colour is wonderful. It’s a Swedish take on an English Victorian Chesterfield & is very stylish. The leather is deep buttoned & has been professionally polished, while at the same time keeping all the character. There is no major damage to the leather, although there is one slim crack in the middle of the back which we have shown in the images. It doesn’t go all the way through & when you press hard it doesn’t open or anything. If we thought it was bad, we would have had our leather specialist put a patch behind it, but it’s not going to open up & looks perfectly okay as is. This sofa is a good length & will easily sit three. It’s also very comfortable too & I would date it to around the 1930’s period.
