Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The chest has two short drawers at the top and three graduated long drawers beneath, the bottom one is an extra deep drawer otherwise known as a Linen or Blanket drawer.
The drawers run very smoothly they have original turned wooden knobs, the chest has a thick top with a very attractive moulded edge
The chest of good solid construction it is in good vintage condition
The chest measures 46” high 47” wide and 22” deep
