In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
They are good quality and weigh approximately 75g.
They are clearly hallmarked for Thomas Hayes, Birmingham, 1897.
They are both in good condition and display very well. On some of the corners the silver has worn thin over years of polishing (see photos). There are some faint surface marks, a few light scratches and small dinks but nothing untoward for their age. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
