18th.c. Oak Rocking Cradle C.1780.

Description

Delightful late 18th.c. oak rocking cradle c.1780. With a hood at the head end and unusual shaped and carved detail to the foot. With sturdy turned finials designed to be used as handles when rocking a child to sleep. In solid oak throughout with panelled sides and the original rockers. Excellent colour and condition with some earlier restorations, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Ideal as a magazine tidy or log box perhaps.
