Description

Unusual late 19th.c. ebonised and brass mounted vitrine or shop display cabinet c.1880. Ideal for jewellery, watches, accessories etc. Of singular design with a curved rear. Glass top with a pierced brass gallery to the rear and sides, over two glazed doors to the front. Fitted inside with two adjustable shelves, also curved and with a moulded front edge. Ebonised mahogany frame with original gilded brass mouldings and mounts to the top and door sides. Fluted detail to the door sides highlighted in gold. Brass bead moulding around the bottom edge. Raised on the original turned legs front and rear, also ebonised and fluted to match. Very good original condition with only very minor wear. Key supplied.
