Description

What a sensational pair of Victorian candlesticks, it's not often these days we come across such examples with wonderfully decadent decoration.

They are extremely solid and heavy, weighted on the inside making them a very usable pair today with the benefit of the felt on the underside to help protect the table top.

The riot of decoration includes three Ram's Heads two thirds of the way up the sticks, all beautifully executed.

Dating to around 1860, they are a truly magnificent pair, measuring 10 3/4" tall with a base diameter measuring 5".
