A fine late Georgian/early Victorian blue and white meat plate or serving platter of good size, measuring 43cms across. The central rural scene of two figures, a thatched house, sheep, and a church is surrounded by an elaborate floral border. It is of excellent condition with only minor, almost unnoticeable surface scratches, with no chips or cracks, or any restoration. It is of rich colour and of immense charm. English, c.1825 to c.1850. .
