A Regency rosewood sewing box. On gilt lacquered brass feet and with boxwood stringing and brass carrying handles. The top with pen-work and central painted transfer scene. The box also contains a selection of contemporary sewing accoutrements. In good and original condition. 120mm high, 240mm wide and 180mm deep. Circa 1825.
