19th Century French Enamelled Glass Trinket Box, Circa 1890

Description

This exquisite 19th Century green glass trinket box jar originates from France and dates circa 1890. The brass bound hinged green glass lid heightened with gilt and enamel heart-shaped decorations in hues of pink and white and pale yellow. The sides decorated with dainty enamel dots.

Dimensions:

Diameter: 5.5cm / 2.1 inches.

Height: 4cm / 1.4 inch.

Condition:

Very good.
