Beautiful Antique English Sterling Silver and Mother of Pearl Christening Set

Description

If you have a new baby in the family or amongst friends, this wonderful Victorian set could be the perfect heirloom gift.

The set comes complete with the original presentation box with it's black leather covering. The interior is lined in a vibrant blue velvet and silk. The three child's implements have Mother of Pearl handles with it's wonderful iridescent qualities. The silver is beautifully engraved with typically Victorian Ferns most attractive and highly sought-after.

Each piece of silver is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1891, a true Victorian example. The makers mark H & T is also present for silversmith Hilliard & Thomason of Spencer Street, Birmingham.

Excellent undamaged condition the knife measuring 7 1/4" long, the fork, 6" long and the spoon, 6 3/4" in length. the box measures 8 1/2" x 4".
