Description

A fine quality English fusee mantel clock in the rococo style. Two tone original gilded bronze case of high quality. The original gilt engine turned dial with moon blued steel hands. A timepiece fusee movement of 8-day duration with original pendulum transportation lock. Engraved to the backplate 'Viner & Co Regent Streeet London' and signed to the dial.

Charles Edward Viner was a fine clock, watch and chronometer maker. He was a member of the Clockmakers Company in 1813. This example dates to circa 1830.
