'Vienna' Gustav Becker Victorian Wall Clock

Description

A Victorian 'Vienna' wall clock by noted maker Gustav Becker. A walnut case with turned side columns and the original finials. The original pediment surmounted by an eagle with carved decorations below. An enamel dial with Gustav Becker mark and decorative blued steel hands. A brass and steel compensating gridiron pendulum with enamel centre. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Circa 1895.
