Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Very stylish pair of antique Biedermeier style Swedish upholstered armchairs with satin birch show wood frames. These armchairs which have just come over from Sweden, have been re-polished & re-upholstered in our regular cream natural cotton linen fabric. They are fabulous looking chairs & have very generous proportions. I would date them to around the 1910 period & they are in excellent condition. Have a close up look at the pattern of grain on the wood & see the interesting details on the fronts of the arms. The seats are full sprung & the fabric is double piped all over.

Depth – 27 inches, 69 cm

Height – 34 inches, 87 cm

Seat height – 16 inches, 41 cm
