Antique English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame

Description

A wonderful and particularly pretty photograph frame with a solid wooden backing including the original wooden folding easel.

The front has the most beautiful solid or sterling silver mount with an Art Nouveau design. The repousse or embossed panel has floral garlands in each corner and an additional garland crowning the vacant cartouche at the top, this could be engraved if desired.

The silver was hallmarked in the highly desirable and collectible Chester assay office in the year 1913

The frame measures 7" x 5" with a glazed aperture measuring 5 1/4" x 3 1/2".
