A Quality Mahogany Inlaid Late Victorian Period Chiffonier

Description

A quality mahogany inlaid Late Victorian Period chiffonier. The upper section having an architectural pediment centred by a turned finial with Sheraton style inlaid detail. The mirrored back has a central oval bevelled mirror again with Sheraton style inlaid fans to the border, flanked by further mirrored panels with a spindled gallery and convex spindled shelves. The lower section has three mahogany lined frieze drawers, each with beautifully cast engraved brass handles above twin central glazed doors opening to reveal a shelved interior, flanked by two beautifully marquetry inlaid panelled doors depicting flora, ribbons and swags. The whole standing on six square tapering supports circa 1890-1900

Dimensions: 60" wide x 102" high x 18" deep

Condition: This chiffonier is in excellent original condition, mahogany lined throughout
