Sterling Silver Salver

1920 - 1940
Description

A lovely pie crust shaped sterling silver salver with an unusual border decoration of downswept acanthus leaves to either side of a flower head, alternating with single palmettes with further connecting decoration, the whole standing on 3 acanthus scrolled feet. This salver is in very good condition and would make a wonderful anniversary gift - the central portion is blank and could be engraved! Hallmarked Birmingham 1942.
