Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The serial number accurately dates it to 1950 and it has the rare Model Reference 2620 on the inside of the case.
The sub seconds dial is in mint condition having been fully restored.
The solid 18ct rose gold case is oversize and measures 38mm in diameter excluding the winding crown making it the largest Tresor and indeed the largest cased Omega made.
It has the Omega symbol on the crown and on the rose gold winding crown and genuine Omega buckle has been fitted. A new glass has been fitted and the case has been professionally polished so it is in superb condition.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case. It comes with a brand new high quality presentation box and premium black leather strap.
The case is fully hallmarked.

It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
