Recently serviced and keeping good time is this superb Art Deco gents manual wrist watch by the French watch makers company Judex. The watch casing is in great condition, free from engravings, tarnishing or erosion. The case dimensions: approx. 27.7 x 27.8 mm (without crown). A good sized square dial in very clean condition and is as authentic as to the day it was made, no touched up dials, re-chroming etc. Genuine real black leather strap. Dial face is off white/ cream with seconds subdial at 6 o'clock.

Perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections and surely an amazing investment that can only grow in value. A lovely watch any gentleman would love to wear. The case back is free of any engravings, shows no wear-through to the plating. All of our watches are sent out in complimentary presentation boxes, ideal for gifting and to store for personal collections.

BIO of Judex Watch Company

Judex was founded during in 1914 in Villers le Lac where it stayed until 1949 when the company relocated to Nice in the south of France. Unfortunately with a struggling nationwide economy in 1953 the company was eventually declared bankrupt. The actual name Judex was named after the lead character of a 1913/1914 silent movie series about the exploits of a masked righter of wrongs, a kind of precursor of Zorro!
