Description

A splendid large sized late 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood marble-top jardiniere stand. It is an excellent quality carved hongmu stand of generous proportions with inset rouge/pink marble top. The shaped top with carved floral decoration , the pierced frieze with carved fruiting vine. The shaped legs have carving to the shoulders , continuing down to stylised feet. United by an under-tier. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition with a fine colour and patina..
