19th Century Cast Iron & Brass Jardiniere Stand

An unusual two tier cast iron jardiniere stand with veined marble shelves. The stand is raised on curved brass legs which terminate with scrolled acanthus leaf feet. The condition is very good and the piece stands evenly with no wobbles. The marble shelves rest on the iron framework and can be lifted off. The elegant curving line of the brass legs, cast iron and crisp marble tiers combine to make this a very striking and highly decorative piece.
