Description

A splendid burr walnut chest on chest, or tallboy, in the early Georgian style. Well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers onto an oak carcas. The top section with canted corners and an arrangement of 2 short over 3 long graduated drawers. The bottom section with canted corners, a brushing slide and an arrangement of 3 long graduated drawers, standing on bracket feet. All drawers are cross banded and fitted with their original charming brass swan neck handles. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard. Now with a wonderful colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
