An excellent Edwardian period mahogany pedestal desk of generous proportions in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. Of fine construction in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers and solid oak drawer linings. Of serpentine form and with an arrangement of 9 drawers (lockable, key supplied). With a sumptuous 3 section leather writing surface to the top and surrounded by a crisply carved thumb-nail border. With paneled sides and standing on carved "ball and claw" cabriole legs. This desk is finished to the rear so could be free standing within a room if required. Offered for sale in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now ready to go straight into the home, or office. Splits into 3 sections for ease of installation.
