An attractive gathering of twelve 19th century books in black leather with gold tooling. The collection consists of ten Temple Bar volumes and two others. They date from around the 1880s and, considering their age, are in a condition that displays well — as can be seen in the photographs. The sizes given are the average dimensions of one book.
