French Kingwood Marble Topped Bombe Commode

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming French Louis XVI style kingwood marble topped commode. Well made with stunning kingwood and rosewood veneers onto a solid oak carcas. It is of serpentine bombe shape and embellished with crisp brass ormolu mounts. The grey varigated marble top sits over an arrangement of 2 long drawers. Each fitted with their original bold ormolu handles. Offered for sale in excellent original condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now with a wonderful colour and patina. Ready to go straight into the home. The marble top is removable for ease of installation.
