Description

A fine quality late Victorian period inlaid mahogany occasional, or lamp, table. Of excellent construction in solid mahogany with flame mahogany veneers and with inlaid decoration throughout. The shaped top with a central floral inlaid panel in boxwood, satinwood and ivorine. With ivorine roundels to the corners and boxwood stringing to the surround. Standing on elegant cabriole legs, with a uniting under-tier. The legs and under-tier also decorated with inlaid ivorine stringing. Whilst not stamped, this table is attributed to the firm of Edwards and Roberts. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
