Victorian Silver Salver 1879

Description

This stunning VICTORIAN SILVER SALVER was made by Henry John Lias & James Wakely in 1879.

Of circular form with gadrooned border this wonderful Silver Salver has superb engraving to the centre and is raised on three claw-and-ball feet.

Made from very heavy gauge silver and weighing over 500gms (17.0 ozt) this Silver Salver is in amazing condition with crisp hallmarks and little sign of use or wear despite being over 140 years old.

With no added engravings, monograms or initials, this fabulous Silver Salver would look superb in any setting or would enhance any collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Dimensions:

Diameter – 10.0” (250mm) / Height – 1.5” (37mm)

Weight – 528gm / 17.0 ozt
