Rare Georgian American New England cherrywood ladder back arm chair with woven ratten seat. Front turned legs and arm supports terminating in pad feet and a typical pronounced turned front stretcher. Other stretchers plain. Note the turned finials to top of back up-rights. All in fine un-touched original condition. A little very old and very dead worm. Wonderful rich cherry colour with great waxed patina. Has branded initials to back of top splat. A splendid example of a New England chair.
