Description

A French provincial Louis XV period Oak Commode dating from c 1750. The chest of bombe Arc en Arblette form. The shaped planked top above three shaped profusely carved long drawers with brass handles and escutcheons and with decoratively carved edge above a shaped carved skirt, the whole resting on carved cabriole feet.
Excellent condition, various restorations with various minor marks, abrasions etc consistent with age and use.
Dimensions: 99 cm wide across top, 50 cm deep top, 80 cm high.
