Steuben Perfume Bottle

1900 - 1920
Description

Very striking iridescent Steuben Aurene glass perfume bottle.

American C1920.

The condition is very good, there is a small shallow scratch to the surface of the stopper. Around the top of the rim of the bottle there are a few areas that are rough to touch, these have occurred during the manufacturing process.

Engraved to the base Aurene 4141.

Aurene was developed by Frederick Carder (1863-1963) at Steuben Glass Works in Corning, New York, in 1904.
