Wilhelm was ahead of his time! The style is utterly timeless.
His work is exhibited as primary examples or Swedish modernism, in the ''Swedish museum of Art and Design''.
The ''Argenta'' series of pottery was/is identified as individual works of art.
The Shape of the stoneware pottery is often simplistic and this is exemplified in the vase listed here.
A tall tapering body which balances perfectly on a short a plinth/foot of small diameter.

Kage was appointed as artistic leader at the Gustavsberg pottery factory in 1917 and he remained in that position untill1949.
prior to this appointment he had worked in Copenhagen, Denmark and Berlin, Germany
The classic shape is covered in the signature mottled green glaze,
The rim is hand decorated with crowns,
... and the body of the vase is embellished with a large detailed silver griffin.
