Description

Stylish pair of small pewter candlesticks in the art nouveau / jugendstil style by WMF. Hexagonal base with opposing pierced panels with cast detail of poppy flowers and raised leaf shaped detail at either side. Faceted stem and sconce with bands of ribbed detailing. Both with the ostrich marks.

They measure 13cm (5 1/8") high, and 10.2cm (4") by 8.3cm (3 3/4") wide.

Condition is very good with no damage or repair, age related surface wear with a few tiny nicks due to the pewter being so soft and a good patina.
