The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.

Hallmarked to the base for London 1782, maker Robert Hennell I. The lid just has the lion passant mark inside.
It measures 7.6cm (3") high, 6.7cm (2 3/8") across the foot and 9.2cm (3 1/8") handle to rim. It weighs 165g in total, 106g / 3.4ozt without the liner.

Condition is very good. The hinge has been re-pinned. There is a tiny nick to the handle, pin head size and a small dent underneath the foot. Surface wear is very light, just a couple of very minor marks, the hallmarks are completely clear. The liner is in fine order.
