Description

Double sided ivory carving of a young Sikh couple in traditional costume with curly toed slippers and elaborate turbans, India, circa 1900

The romantic couple framed in a stylised leaf and flower bower.

Part hollow tusk with applied base and feet.

Height 5,1/4" or 134mm, weight 155 grams.

Some tracery missing between the feet otherwise in excellent condition with no damage or repair.

UK and EU only, includes free secure shipping.
