Edwardian Silver Horseshoe Photo Frame London 1903 Cohen & Charles

1900 - 1920
Description

A stylish Edwardian silver photo frame designed as a horseshoe. It has deep sides of silver and is attached to the frame back with 3 tiny screws. The glass has been cut to match the horseshoe shape and the back is made of leather covered wood, with a bespoke unmarked silver easel support. The quality is superb, with a good gauge of silver, and clear hallmarks for London 1903 and maker Cohen & Charles.

The unusual feature of attaching the frame to the back with the tiny screws makes it a bit fiddly to disassemble and reassemble but it is do-able without much trouble and once assembled, the frame stands sturdily.

Overall weight 240gr

The side depth is 2cm, with overall depth when standing of 9cm. Height12.5cm. Front max width 11cm.

In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
