Edwardian Antique Silver Inkwell 1908

1900 - 1920
Description

This fabulous ANTIQUE SILVER INKWELL has two glass ink pots on a Solid Silver Tray supported on four triangular feet. The tray has a raised reeded border and a raised central panel with engraved decoration. Each ink pot has a sterling silver hallmarked lid and the glass has a banded decoration and star cut base.

Made by T.Wooley in 1908, this superb Edwardian Solid Silver Inkwell has no added engravings, monograms or initials, is in excellent condition and would look fabulous on any desk or would enhance any silver collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Silver mount to one ink pot is slightly out of shape – hardly noticeable but mentioned for accuracy.

Some staining to inside of lid of one ink pot.

Dimensions:

Length – 9.75” (245mm) / Width – 3.875” (97mm)

Weight – Tray: 209gm / 6.71ozt Total: 352gm / 11.31ozt.
