High quality double sided fan with carved and pierced sandalwood sticks and deeply carved guards.
The two paper leaves hand painted with figures in garden room setting, one side showing lady horse riders and a covered rickshaw.
The figures with well painted applied faces and silk clothes.
Good, clatter tight fan with insignificant light wear, central stick broken and glued where it enters the leaf, small leaf repair where some sticks enter.
The original tight sound fitted lacquer box with surface, edge and corner wear.
Length of fan closed 11'' or 280mm.
Weight of fan 67 grams.
Gross weight 229 grams.
