A beautiful antique Napoleon III inlaid rosewood lady's writing or work desk or Bonheur Du Jour, circa 1890, the superstructure with a inlaid fall-front opening to reveal a tooled leather writing surface with various compartments and single drawer, over a moulded rectangular top above a drawer with two brass knob handles with various storage boxes covered in red velvet, with a slide-out well below, raised on string-inlaid square-section tapering legs terminating with casters, comes with two working keys with tassels.
