Unusual pair of early 19th.c English country house hall chairs c.1830. In solid oak throughout with beautifully carved and shaped backrests featuring an heraldic device of an arm embowed, in armour and clutching a spear over a coronet. Surrounded by acanthus leaf carving with egg and dart moulding at the top. Over a shaped seat with round centre panel, raised on turned front legs. Excellent colour and condition with repairs to the seats. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
